Donnie Tuten age 52 of Batesville died Wednesday, August 27, 2014 at a Batesville hospital. He was born December 13, 1961 at Batesville, Arkansas to Henry E. and Wanda (Hix) Tuten. He was a member of the Liberty Baptist Church at Gainesboro and a member of the Donnie Tuten Prayer Team. He was preceded in death by his father Henry E. Tuten; his grandparents, Winford and Minnie Hix, Cusperd Tuten and Gladys Tuten Kennedy and one niece, Brandy Tuten. Survivors include his mother, Wanda Tuten of Batesville; one brother, Ellis Tuten and wife Paulette of Berryville; two sisters, Sharon Goforth of Batesville and Shirley Branscum-Baffa and husband Gus of Batesville; four nieces, Shay Carter, Ashley Snedker, Lori Doyle and Maygan Brannon; one nephew, Shayne Goforth; three great nieces; five great nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. Graveside services will be Friday, August 29, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at the Liberty Cemetery at Gainesboro with Bro. Dennis Green officiating. Arrangements by Qualls Batesville Funeral Service of Batesville. Visitation will be Thursday, August 28, 2014 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Keith James, Shayne Goforth, Darrel Snedker, Trevor Clark, Colton Carter, Billy Coe, Roger Whitener and Ronnie Manuel. Honorary pallbearers are Braydin Brannon, Xander Brannon, Tanner Doyle, Jim Warnick, Shelby Branscum, Wayne “Yankee” Hix, Arvil Vaulner, Dr. Randall Hunt and all members of the Donnie Tuten Prayer Team.
