Zenus T. Davidson

Zenus T. Davidson age 79 of Floral died Sunday, September 7, 2014 at his home. He was born August 5, 1935 at Banner, Arkansas to Vernie Arthur and Obie Geneva (Arnold) Davidson. He was a retired farmer and road construction worker. He was a member of the Banner Church of Christ. He was preceded in death by his parents; one daughter, Peggy “Star” Davidson Purkey; and two brothers, Gerald Davidson and Coy Davidson. Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Rose Sharp Davidson of the home; two sons, Tharrell Davidson and Tim Davidson both of Floral; one daughter, Tonya Davidson Byrd of Floral; one brother, Toy Davidsonof Southside; five sisters, Anita Stone of Pleasant Plains, Kay Galloway of Southside, Naomi Pinkston of Desha, Wilma Jo Gay and Verna Bull both of Floral; twelve grandchildren, thirty-one great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. Memorial services will be held Friday, September 12, 2014 at 5:00 p.m. at the Mt. Zion Cemetery located at Banner. Arrangements by Qualls Batesville Funeral Service of Batesville. No visitation is planned.
