David "Pops" Blackmore

David “Pops” Blackmore age 57 of Batesville died Tuesday, September 16, 2014 at a Batesville hospital. He was born September 19, 1956 at Moberly, Missouri to Henry Alford and Laura Beatrice Driskell Blackmore. He enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family. He especially enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother Darwin Blackmore. Survivors include one son, Dennis Blackmore of Batesville; one daughter Tamela Green of Newport; one brother, Henry Owen Blackmore of Texas and one sister, Jennie Walters of Kansas City, Missouri; five grandchildren, Logan Griffith, Bryce Blackmore, Lexi Blackmore, Haleigh Blackmore and Scarlet Blackmore; several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held Saturday, September 20, 2014 at 3:00 p.m. at the Qualls Batesville Funeral Service Chapel in Batesville with Bro. Eric Downs officiating. Arrangements by Qualls Batesville Funeral Service of Batesville. Visitation will be Saturday, September 20, 2014 from 2:00 p.m. until service time at the funeral home. Honorary pallbearers are William Walley, Delvin Walters, Ronald Corter, Logan Griffith, Bryce Blackmore and Allen Green
