Ronnie Shetron age 66 of Batesville died Saturday September 20, 2014 at his home in Batesville surrounded by his family. He was born September 15, 1948 in Batesville, Arkansas to Charles and Lola (Trent) Shetron. He was a U.S. Army veteran. He was retired from the Batesville Fire Department with 20 years of service. He was also owner of Shetron Roofing. Her was a wonderful husband, father and grandfather. He loved to fish, hunt, and spend time with his grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Patsy Gray. Survivors include his wife of 42 years, Theresa Crawford Shetron; two sons, Shannon Shetron and wife Trina of Cave City and Shawn Shetron and wife Kim of Batesville; eight grandchildren, Kaelin Schroeder, Colin Schroeder, Courtney Shetron, Kaitlynn Shetron, Jackson Shetron, Chayne Shetron, Jonas Elms and Mady Elms; three brothers, Charles “Red” Shetron, Michael Shetron and wife Jessica and Rodney Shetron and wife Eileen all of Batesville; a special sister-in-law, Kimberly Crawford that he always called his little coon hunting, frog gigging buddy; several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be Tuesday, September 23, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at the Qualls Batesville Funeral Service Chapel in Batesville with Bro. Tracy Grissom officiating. Arrangements by Qualls Batesville Funeral Service of Batesville. Visitation will be Monday, September 22, 2014 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Batesville Fire Department Honor Guard will be Mike Debow, Jerry Osborne, James Boothby, Cam Russell, Danny Russell, Bobby Davis, Tommy Clark and Howard West.
