Alice Faye Payne age 75 of Cave City died Friday, September 26, 2014 at her home. She was born September 12, 1939 at Cord, Arkansas to William Edward and Nola (Terry) Mize. She was a retired business owner having owned and operated Hometown Antiques and Gifts in Cave City for several years. She also worked for GenCorp Automotive in Batesville as a supervisor for several years. She was a member of Eastern Star and a member of Soul’s Harbor Church in Cave City. She was preceded in death by her parents. Survivors include one daughter, Sheree Lyn Huckabee of the home; two sisters, Linda Asberry and husband Larry of Cave City and Judy Harris and husband Kenny of Lynn; three grandchildren, Jeremy Huckabee of Conway, Zackery Huckabee and Brent Huckabee both of Cave City; several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be Friday, October 3, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at the Soul’s Harbor Church in Cave City with Bro. Sam Manuel officiating. Burial will follow in the Milligan Campground Cemetery located near Strawberry with arrangements by Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City. Visitation will be Thursday, October 2, 2014 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the Soul’s Harbor Church in Cave City. Pallbearers will be Joey Huckabee, Brandon Mize, Gregg Asberry, Tyler Asberry, Justin King and T.J. Cude. Honorary pallbearers are Rob Lyons, Brent Huckabee, Colton Asberry, Matt Martens, Kendra Harris and Members of Soul’s Harbor Church.
