Dorothy Duncan

Dorothy Duncan age 85 of Batesville died Thursday, October 2, 2014 at a Batesville hospital. She was born September 28, 1929 at Mountain View, Arkansas to Luther and Molly (Erwin) Green. She was retired from White Rodgers in Batesville with 20 years of service. She was a member of the Emmanuel Baptist Church at Southside. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Johna J. Duncan; one brother, William L. Green and one sister, Billie Ray Green. Survivors include two sons, Donald Duncan of Southside and Faron Duncan of Concord; three daughters, Reva Bushatz and Yvonne Rankin both of Southside and Elaine Carpenter of Searcy; two sisters, Helen Duncan of Southside and Betty Floyd of Little Rock; eleven grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be Tuesday, October 7, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at the Emmanuel Baptist Church at Southside with Randy Harris officiating. Burial will follow in the Roselawn Memorial Gardens located at Batesville with arrangements by Qualls Batesville Funeral Service of Batesville. Visitation will be Monday, October 6, 2014 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Brandon Duncan, Greg White, Jason Duncan, Heath Duncan, Tyler Lucy and Stacy Rankin. Honorary pallbearers are all her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
