Debra G. Spohr age 59 of Batesville died Wednesday, October 15, 2014 in South Carolina. She was born August 7, 1955 at Searcy, Arkansas to James and Linda Hendrix. She was a CNA for the Community School Inc. in Batesville and was active with the Angel’s Pageant. She was preceded in death by her mother, Linda Hendrix and one brother, Jack Chrenshaw. Survivors include two sons, David Townsend of Batesville and Scott Townsend of Poughkeepsie; one daughter, Rachel Crotts of Batesville; her father, James Hendrix of Bald Knob; eight brothers, Carl Rouse of Ohio, Bobby Chrenshaw of Bald Knob, Stacy Hendrix of Judsonia, Nathan Hendrix of Bald Knob, Charles Hendrix of Bradford, Donald Hendrix of Indiana, Ronald Hendrix of Bald Knob and Jimmy Hendrix of Oklahoma; three sisters, Elizabeth Hendrix of Bald Knob, Janie Robison and Leslie Luttrell both of Judsonia; nine grandchildren, Jordan Townsend of Southside, Rebecca Britten of Batesville, McKenzie Townsend of Southside, Brandon Britten of Batesville, Collun Townsend of Batesville, Hailey Townsend of Southside, Monica Townsend of Michigan, Kylie Pearson of Batesville and Jayton Long of Batesville; several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be Monday, October 20, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at the Qualls Batesville Funeral Service Chapel in Batesville with Rev. Mike Parmley officiating. Burial will follow in the Egner Cemetery located at Salado with arrangements by Qualls Batesville Funeral Service of Batesville. Visitation will be Monday, October 20, 2014 from 1:00 p.m. until service time at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Billy Jones, Zane Martin, Chuck Hopkins, Jayton Long, Charles Hendrix and Stacy Hendrix.
