Glenda Maxine Bailey

Glenda Maxine Bailey age 74 of Batesville died Saturday, October 18, 2014 at a Batesville nursing home. She was born January 21, 1940 at Concord, Arkansas to Roscoe Glen and Freda (Johnson) Brackett. She was a homemaker and a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Leroy Bailey; one brother, Gary Brackett; and one great grandson, Landyn Downs. Survivors include two daughters, Lisa Qualls and Tressa Downs both of Batesville; two brothers, Larry Brackett of Mountain View and Don Brackett of Floral; one sister Carolyn Slater of Newark; four grandchildren, Sidney Qualls, Jesse Qualls, Cody Downs and Kyle Downs all of Batesville; three great grandchildren, Cole Downs, Ryder Downs and Bailee Downs all of Batesville; several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. Graveside services will be Wednesday, October 22, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at the Lee’s Chapel Cemetery located on White Drive in Batesville with Paul Maples officiating. Arrangements by Qualls Batesville Funeral Service of Batesville. No visitation is planned.
