Dorothy Combee

Dorothy Combee age 68 of Sulphur Rock died Sunday, October 19, 2014 at a Batesville hospital. She was born April 27, 1946 at Duvalls Bluff, Arkansas to Charles Wade and Rose Ellen (Hudson) Ervin. She was a homemaker and a member of the New Life Assembly of Jesus Christ at Magness. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, George Combee and one brother, Jerry Ervin. Survivors include three sons, Brian Combee of Newark, Michael Combee of Sulphur Rock and Charles Combee of Batesville; three daughters, Michele Morris of Sulphur Rock, Sheri Britten of Batesville and Denise Minyard of Southside; two brothers, Larry Ervin of Washington and Danny Ervin of Providence; eleven grandchildren, Myriah Knatcal, Brian C. Combee, Haley Combee, Tessa Minyard, Kiarah Benton, Ethan Benton, Tyler Combee, Craig Combee, Micaela Combee, Hunter Combee and Mikey Combee; one great grandchild, Kaylyn Combee; several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be Thursday, October 23, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at the Newark Assembly of God in Newark with Bro. Gaylon England officiating. Arrangements by Qualls Batesville Funeral Service of Batesville. Visitation will be Wednesday, October 22, 2014 from 7:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Darrel Gillmore, Gary Britten, Phillip Morris, Shane Minyard, Andrew Knatcal and Michael Combee. Honorary pallbearers are Butch Minyard, Roy Hunter, Darrel England and Gene England.
