Jimmy Dean Walton age 65 of Bethesda died Sunday, November 9, 2014 at his home surrounded by his family. He was born January 27, 1949 at Mountain Home, Arkansas to James Lloyd and Elsie May (Foster) Walton. He was a maintenance worker having worked several years for Arkansas Lime and retiring from Midwest Lime. He was a U.S. Army Veteran of Vietnam and was a member of the Pilgrim’s Rest Baptist Church at Bethesda. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Mary Joyce Walton and one brother, Jessie Lee Walton. Survivors include two sons, Robert Long and wife Nancy and Lee Walton and wife Karen all of Bethesda; four brothers, Georgie Walton and wife Bertha of Wappapello, Missouri, James Elvis Walton of Gassville, Stephen Dale Walton and wife Sue of Mountain Home and Eldon Eugene Walton of Mountain Home; two sisters, Barbara Ann Haynes and husband Asa of Gassville and Monnia Ray Green and husband Theodore of Gassville; seven grandchildren, Ashton Walton, Random Long, Maggie Walton, Ian Long, Nathaniel Long and Allana Huckaba all of Bethesda and Braxton Smith of Batesville; several nieces and a host of other relatives and friends. Graveside services will be Wednesday, November 12, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at the Campground Cemetery located at Bethesda with Bro. Bob Long officiating. Arrangements by Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City. Visitation will be Tuesday, November 11, 2014 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Honorary pallbearers are Doyle Wade, Chad Smith, Johny Long, Dallas Rolins, Steve Walton, Pete Green, Random Long and Bud Caldwell.
