Janet Moody age 70 of Batesville died Monday, November 10, 2014 at a Little Rock hospital. She was born November 6, 1944 at Milwaukee, Wisconsin to Talman Lee “Shorty” Johnson and Leona Johnson. She was a restaurant cook and a CNA. She was a member of the Evening Shade VFW Post 8042 Ladies Auxiliary and a member of the First Assembly of God in Cave City. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Roy Moody; two sons, Cliff Knappenberger and Elvis Knappenberger; one brother, Conrad Johnson and one great granddaughter, Nova Skye. Survivors include two sons, Scott Knappenberger of Evening Shade and John Knappenberger of Batesville; one daughter, Leeanne Crosby of Sidney; one brother, Ralph Johnson of Cave City; one sister, Margaret Stelter of Oconomowoc, Wisconsin ;six grandchildren, six great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. Memorial services will be held Saturday, November 15, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at the First Assembly of God Church in Cave City with Bro. Bobby Sanders officiating. Arrangements by Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City. No visitation is planned.
