Ruby Pauline (Light) Sexton age 91 of Batesville died Wednesday, November 19, 2014 at a Batesville nursing home. She was born November 16, 1923 at Shady Grove, Arkansas to John and Ellen (McGuffey) Light. She was a homemaker and a member of the Pleasant Valley Missionary Baptist Church in Batesville. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Marvin Sexton; one stepson, Eugene Sexton; four brothers, Eulen Light, J.R. Light, Nathan Light and Jim Light; three sisters, Dora Roe, Dorothy Hiler and Ida Roby and one granddaughter. Survivors include two sons, John Wright of Portland, Michigan and Mike Wright of Phoenix, Arizona; four daughters, Rose Mary Shobe of Phoenix, Arizona; Twyla Sualstad of Rapid City, South Dakota, Lilly Dietz of Crookston, Minnesota and Carolyn Haeder of Newton, Kansas; one step-son, Jerry Sexton of Geneseo, Illinois; two step-daughters, Mary Lou Lucy of Cord and Geneva Crawford of Batesville; one sister, Carrie Mae Parlin of Maumelle; twenty grandchildren; thirty-seven great-grandchildren; twenty-seven great -great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be Saturday, November 22, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at the Qualls Batesville Funeral Service Chapel in Batesville with Justin Burge officiating. Burial will follow in the Oaklawn Cemetery located in Batesville with arrangements by Qualls Batesville Funeral Service of Batesville. Visitation will be Saturday, November 22, 2014 from 1:00 p.m. until service time at the funeral home. Palbearers will be Perry Crawford, James Crawford, Ronnie Sexton, Shawn Shetron, Shannon Shetron and Kevin Couch. Honorary pallbearers are Residents and Staff of Woodlawn Heights Nursing Home
