Richard L. Hilborn age 75 of Cave City went to be with his Lord and Savior on Thursday, November 20, 2014 at his home. He was born April 29, 1939 at Malvern, Arkansas to Roy B. and Hattie L. (Floyd) Hilborn. He was retired from Arkansas Power and Light with 35 years of service. He was a United States Air Force veteran and was a member of the Eutopia Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Stanley Hilborn and one nephew, Wade Riggans. Survivors include his wife Karen Sue (Browning) Hilborn of the home; two sons, Richard Lee Hilborn II and wife Taunia and Chris Hilborn and wife Angela all of Malvern; two daughters, Denise Wooldridge and husband Chad of Cave City and Shelley Gallap and husband Denny of Batesville; one brother, Boyce Hilborn and wife Barbara of Haskell; one sister, Janice Riggans and husband Larry of Malvern; one sister-in-law Dorothy Hilborn of Malvern; nine grandchildren, Hayley Voss, Tyler Hilborn, Cody Hilborn and Hunter Hilborn all of Malvern, Lindsey King of Highland, Rustin Wooldridge of Cave City, Sammy Reynolds III , Megan Trail and Sara Gallap all of Batesville; three great grandchildren, Nakai Voss, Aiden Voss both of Malvern and Easton King of Highland; several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be Monday, November 24, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at the Eutopia Baptist Church located west of Cave City with Bro. David Insell officiating. Burial will follow in the Eutopia Cemetery with arrangements by Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City. Visitation will be Monday November 24, 2014 from 1:00 p.m. until service time at the church. Pallbearers will be Joshua Price, Wendell Perkey, Denny Gallap, Bobby Rains, Tyler Hilborn and Cody Hilborn. Honorary pallbearers are His Grandchildren , Staff of Caring Hands Hospice, Thurman Lee and Allen Hilborn.
