Donald Rainey

Donald Rainey age 58 of Violet Hill died Wednesday, December 3, 2014 at a Batesville hospital. He was born May 25, 1956 at Blytheville, Arkansas to Robert and Maud (Adams) Rainey. He was of the Pentecostal faith. He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Everett Rainey, Monroe Rainey and Charlie Rainey and eight sisters, Dorothy Rainey, Ellen Woodham, Johnnie Abernathy, Joann Reed, Kathy Barrett, Gladys Rainey, Jones Rainey and Anita Rainey. Survivors include his wife , Tina Rainey of the home; two sons, Donald Rainey Jr. of Fayetteville and Adam Rainey of Pryor, Oklahoma; two daughters, Delena Cavaness of Pleasant Plains and Charlie Templin of Southside; five grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be Saturday, December 6, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at the Qualls Batesville Funeral Service Chapel in Batesville with Chris Coleman officiating. Burial will follow in the Reeves Cemetery located near Guion with arrangements by Qualls Batesville Funeral Service of Batesville. Visitation will be Friday, December 5, 2014 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Ryan Cavaness, Shaun Templin, Hunter Townsley, Weston Townsley, Adam Rainey and Jerry Springer. Honorary pallbearers are Donald Rainey Jr. and Teddy Edwards.
