Kimbrew Milligan age 92 of Cave City died Sunday, December 7, 2014 at a Batesville hospital. He was born March 4, 1922 at Strawberry, Arkansas to Melvin Roy and Lillie Mae (Green) Milligan. He was retired from International Shoe Factory in Batesville, was a newspaper carrier for the Batesville Daily Guard for 34 years and was a U.S. Army Veteran of WWII. He was member of the First United Methodist Church in Cave City. He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Mary Maxola Foster and a grandson, Kasey Milligan. Survivors include his wife of 72 years, Lee Owen (Hoggard) Milligan; two sons, Ricky Milligan and wife Nell of Batesville and Donald Milligan and wife Kathy of Cave City; one daughter, Karen Guthrie and husband Gary of Cave City; two brothers, Kelmer Milligan of Moline, Illinois and Grayden Milligan of Cave City; three sisters, Walase White, Jean Mize and Lannie Crock all of Cave City; six grandchildren, Ryan Herndon of Cave City, Aaron Herndon of Batesville, Megan Watson of Batesville, Trinity Milligan of Cave City, Kevin Milligan of Batesville and Sam Milligan of Batesville; six great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be Wednesday, December 10, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at the First United Methodist Church in Cave City with Bro. Grayden Milligan officiating. Burial will follow in the Milligan Campground Cemetery located near Calamine with arrangements by Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City. Visitation will be Tuesday, December 9, 2014 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the First United Methodist Church at Cave City. Pallbearers will be Kevin Milligan, Trinity Milligan, Ryan Herndon, Sam Milligan, Aaron Herndon, Keith Mize and Kenny Mize. Honorary pallbearers are Dr. Andy Davidson and his nephews and great nephews.
