Troy A. Martin age 85 of Batesville died Wednesday, December 24, 2014 at a Little Rock hospital. He was born July 5, 1929 at Bethesda, Arkansas to James H. and Delsie D. (Harmon) Martin. He was retired from the International Shoe Factory in Batesville and was a U.S. Army veteran. He was a member of the Chinquapin Church of Christ. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Melvin Martin. Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Mary Nadine Martin of the home; two sons, Austin Martin of Pope, Mississippi and Greg Martin of Paragould and their families; three sisters, Leota Allen of Batesville, Mildred Winkle of Batesville and Nancy Branham of Georgia; three granddaughters, Sarah Felton of Melbourne, Faith Greenway of Batesville and Zina Ludvich of Memphis, Tennessee; three great grandchildren, Bradley Felton of Melbourne, Trinity Greenway of Batesville and Cameron Waddell of South Haven, Mississippi; several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be Tuesday, December 30, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at the Qualls Batesville Funeral Service Chapel in Batesville with Bryan Keller and Roger Ried officiating. Burial will follow in the Campground Cemetery located at Bethesda with arrangements by Qualls Batesville Funeral Service of Batesville. Visitation will be Monday, December 29, 2014 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Bryan Ross, Alan Ross, Kendall Felton, Shawn Greenway, Ricky Winkle and Bryan Keller.
