Arlene Bradley age 90 of Cord died Thursday, January 8, 2015 at a Batesville hospital. She was born June 22, 1924 at Dowdy, Arkansas to James and Zeffie (Sullivan ) Lance. She was a homemaker and a member of the Oak Ridge Methodist Church at Cord. She served as secretary/treasurer of the Union Cemetery Board for 44 years. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Maurice Bradley and one sister, Edna Crigler. Survivors include two sons, Royce Bradley and wife Carol and Randy Bradley and wife Betty all of Cord; three grandchildren, Vanessa Shelton of Dallas, Texas, Jessica Bradley of Cord and Tanner Bradley of Cord; a niece, Janavee Weaver and a nephew, Murvelee Crigler of Cord; and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be Saturday, January 10, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at the Qualls Batesville Funeral Service Chapel in Batesville with Bro. Jackie Pickett officiating. Burial will follow in the Hopewell Cemetery located at Cord with arrangements by Qualls Batesville Funeral Service of Batesville. Visitation will be Friday, January 9, 2015 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Henry Stoner, Chuck Coe, Murvelee Crigler, Marvin West, Calvin Crigler and Tim Davis. Honorary pallbearers are Charles Honey, Mike Jones, Jerry Millspaugh, John Hall and Ronnie Melton.
