Blanche Johnson Hollandsworth

Blanche Johnson Hollandsworth age 105 of Sidney died Thursday January 8, 2015 at a Batesville hospital. She was born January 2, 1910 at Cave City, Arkansas to Washington and Louise Johnson. She was a homemaker and a member of the Sidney Baptist Church. She was a member of the Extension Homemakers Club at Sidney. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Parmer Hollandsworth; five brothers, Orville Johnson, Clyde Johnson, Estel Johnson, Elvis Johnson and Lester Johnson and one sister, Beulah Powell. Survivors include one son, James Robert Hollandsworth and wife Evelyn of Sidney; one daughter, Mary Hollandsworth Brent of Birmingham, Alabama; two sisters, Agnes Milligan of Cave City and Helen Romine of Pleasant Plains; three grandchildren, Patti Lide of Birmingham, Alabama, Kyle Hollandsworth of Columbia, Missouri and Lori Ellinger and husband Matt of Draper. Utah; five great grandchildren, Mandy McEachern of Birmingham, Alabama, Jacob and Jordyn Hollandsworth both of Columbia, Missouri and Avery and Alice Ellinger both of Draper, Utah; several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be Monday, January 12, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at the Sidney Baptist Church located at Sidney with Bro. Doyne Robertson officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Carmel Cemetery located at Sidney with arrangements by Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City. Visitation will be Sunday, January 11, 2015 from 2:00 until 4:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Pallbearers are Michael Lackey, Dwain Johnson, Larry Johnson, Jonathan Miller, Gary Johnson and Phillip Johnson.
