Campbell Wilkerson age 93 of Cave City died Monday, January 19, 2015 at the Cave City Nursing Home. He was born January 20, 1921 at Calamine, Arkansas to Edgar and Esther (Milligan) Wilkerson. He retired as parts manager for Hollis Motor Company in McGeehee, Arkansas, was a U.S. Army Veteran of World War II and a Mason. He was a member of the Eastside Southern Baptist Church in Cave City. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Pauline Wilkerson and one sister, Margaret Wilkerson. Survivors include one son, Campbell Wilkerson Jr. of Crossett; one daughter, Cathey Johnson of Cave City; two brothers, Kenneth Wilkerson of Florida and Allen Wilkerson of Cave City; one sister, Lucille Howell of Springdale; four grandchildren, Jenny Shockley of Houston, Texas, Jason Wilkerson of Warren, Claudette Jones of Newark and John Johnson of Newark; seven great grandchildren, Anna Wilkerson, Ryan Parks, Robbie Parks, Tanner Johnson, Madison Johnson, Meghan Davis and Lane Taylor; several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. Graveside services will be held Wednesday, January 21, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at the Mount View Cemetery located east of Cave City with Bro. Lynn Westmoreland officiating. Arrangements by Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City. No visitation is planned. Pallbearers are his great grandchildren. Honorary pallbearers are the Employees of the Cave City Nursing Home and Roy Hogue.
