Virginia Mae Nicholson

Virginia Mae Nicholson age 82 of Concord died Monday, January 19, 2015 at a Batesville hospital. She was born October 5, 1932 at San Antonio, Texas to Arthur and Veda Burdick. She was a homemaker and retired from ConAgra Foods in Batesville. She was a member of the Floral Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents; two sons, Milton Nicholson and Luther Nicholson; one daughter, Jackie Louise Nicholson; four sisters, Marvis Evans, Barbara Henry, Betty Burdick and Margurite Burdick and one great granddaughter, Kadance Elizabeth Mayfield. Survivors include one son, Curtis Nicholson of Floral; three daughters, Jewell Swaim, Geneva Nicholson Wallace and Janet Nicholson Reeves all of Concord; two sisters, Billie White of Wyllie, Texas and Loralee Robbins of Concord; ten grandchildren, Felicia Stingley, Benjamin Wallace, Jessica Wallace Smith, Nathan Nicholson, Leanna Bacon, Erin Mayfield, Ashley Thompson, Jarrod Reeves, Alicia Swain and Marla Warden; 17 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be Thursday, January 22, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at the Faith Full Gospel Church located at Banner with Bro. Jim Dillard officiating. Burial will follow in the Pine Grove Cemetery located at Floral with arrangements by Qualls Batesville Funeral Service of Batesville. Visitation will be Wednesday, January 21, 2015 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Bobby Ray Pearson, Randy Sample, Guy Watkins, James Currie, Michael James and Mark James. Honorary pallbearers are Frank Evans, Tony Robbins, Jamie Robbins, Mike Reeves and Kenny Swaim.
