Lela Faye Hampton

Lela Faye Hampton age 84 of Batesville died Monday, February 2, 2015 at a Batesville hospital. She was born October 12, 1930 at Bethesda, Arkansas to Charlie and Cecil Mae (Carey) Lee. She was retired from Wood Lawn Nursing Home in Batesville and was a member of the Central Avenue Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Bobby Hampton; two daughters, Virginia Mae Hampton and Lois Jean Hampton; one brother, Sherman Lee and one sister, Dorothy Heathcoat. Survivors include two sons, Charles Hampton (Darlene) of Judsonia and Larry Hampton(Sandy) of Batesville; one daughter, Becky Hampton of Batesville; one sister, Diane Hodges (Ray) of Searcy; 11 grandchildren;27 great grandchildren; 11 great- great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be Friday, February 6, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at the Qualls Batesville Funeral Service Chapel in Batesville with Patrick and Brandi Roaten officiating. Burial will follow in the Barnes Cemetery located near Bethesda with arrangements by Qualls Batesville Funeral Service of Batesville. Visitation will be Friday, February 6, 2015 from 1:00 p.m. until service time at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Cody Hampton, Tylor Black, Kristopher Gould, Jonathon Cooper, Cody Cooper and Daniel Croslin. Honorary pallbearers are Brody Hampton and Owen Brown
