Rev. David E. Adams age 69 of Batesville, Arkansas died Friday, February 6, 2015 at the White River Medical Center in Batesville. He was born August 13, 1945 at Paducah, Kentucky to Alton and Stella Adams. He was a pastor for 45 years having served the past 36 years at the Full Gospel Fellowship Church in Batesville. He was preceded in death by his parents, Alton and Stella Adams; one son, Dewayne Ray Adams; two sisters, Louise Beasley and Gracie Lee Adams. Survivors include his wife of 46 years, Beverly Adams of the home; one daughter, Davina Renea Adams Cone of Savannah, Georgia; two grandsons, Adam Dewayne Cone and Thomas Adrian Cone both of Savannah, Georgia; three sisters, Edna Futral of Boaz, Kentucky, Charlene Stuart of Paducah, Kentucky and Wanda Patterson of Hickory, Kentucky; several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be Tuesday, February 10, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at the Full Gospel Fellowship Church in Batesville with Joey Hight, Dwaine Galiher, Ray Riggs, Kevin Pleasant, Kenny Tharp and Galen Tipper officiating. Interment will follow in the Oaklawn Cemetery Mausoleum in Batesville with arrangements by Qualls Batesville Funeral Service of Batesville. Visitation will be Monday, February 9, 2015 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be David Pleasant, Anthony Woods, Stan Collins, Mike Blue, J.R. Woods and Don Pollard. Honorary pallbearers are All Ministers of the Gospel. Flowers may not be used at the mausoleum. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Full Gospel Fellowship Church, 2805 Neeley Street, Batesville, AR 72501.
