Earl W. James

Earl W. James age 105 of Cave City died Thursday, February 26, 2015 at a Cave City nursing home. He was born June 13, 1909 at Cave City, Arkansas to John W. and Lee (Rawlings) James. He was a retired carpenter and a member of the Mount View Missionary Baptist Church at Cave City. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Amy Mobley James; one daughter, Martha Louise James and five brothers, Wesley James, Neal James, Odell James, J.W. James and Justin James. Survivors include two sons, Carl Winford James of Cincinnati, Ohio and Hurshel Lee James of Leesburg, Florida; five grandchildren, Dennis James of Lawrenceville, Georgia, Michael James of Bentonville, Arkansas, Beth Ann Berter of Cincinnati, Ohio, Abby Kulasekera of Urban, Ohio and Danny James of Cincinnati, Ohio; eighteen great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. Graveside services will be Sunday, March 1, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at the Mount View Cemetery located east of Cave City with Bro. Dennis Gay officiating. Arrangements by Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City. Visitation will be Saturday, February 28, 2015 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Honorary pallbearers are Ed Turnbough, Michael James, Dennis James, Aaron James, Danny James, Braden James, Dennis Smith, Jim Smith and Mike Willmuth.
