Bonnie Duke Maxwell age 71 of Cave City (formerly of Evening Shade) died Saturday, March 7, 2015 at the Cave City Nursing Home. She was born April 27, 1943 at Evening Shade, Arkansas to Otto and Osie (Bailey) Duke. She worked for AT&T for 27 years in Houston, Texas. She was a member of the Faith Assembly of God Church in Evening Shade. She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, W.O. Duke and Coy Duke. Survivors include one daughter, Cindy McMillan of Cullman, Alabama; four brothers, Cleo Duke of Cave City, Harley Duke of Batesville, Jack Duke of Sidney and Boyce Duke of Evening Shade; three sisters, Elsie Herrington of Ward, Patsy Malone and Kathleen Koob both of Cave City; two grandsons, Zackery Deon Qualls and Matthew James Burns both of Cullman, Alabama; one great granddaughter, Lilly Qualls of Cullman, Alabama; several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be Tuesday, March 10, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at the Qualls Funeral Home Chapel in Cave City with Rev. Ricky Poole officiating. Burial will follow in the Williams Cemetery located at Evening Shade with arrangements by Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City. Visitation will be Tuesday, March 10, 2015 from 1:00 p.m. until service time. Pallbearers will be Kenny Malone, Burton Duke, Dwayne Headstream, Billy Headstream, Matthew Burns and Zack Qualls. Honorary pallbearers are the Staff of the Cave City Nursing Home.
