Wanda Lee Lasley

Wanda Lee Lasley age 84 of Cave City died Sunday, March 15, 2015 at a Batesville hospital. She was born February 27, 1931 at Poughkeepsie, Arkansas to David Clarence and Savannah Bamma (Watkins) Huckabee. She was a homemaker and a member of the Cave City Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Ernest L. Lasley; one brother, Olden Huckabee and three sisters, Violet Coke, Hazel Heath and Helen Snyder. Survivors include two sons, Dale Lasley and Jerry Lasley both of Kokomo, Indiana; one daughter, Linda Edwards of Cave City; one brother, Lloyd Huckabee of Poughkeepsie; one sister, Vera Hatfield of Gassville; six grandchildren, Debbie Kennedy, Cathy Fritz, Melissa Goad and Jamy Walker all of Kokoma, Indiana, Chris Lasley of Indianapolis, Indiana and Courtney Edwards of Cave City; 13 great grandchildren; 6 great-great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be Thursday, March 19, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at the Cave City Church of Christ with Dean Fugett officiating. Burial will follow in the Spotts Cemetery located at Poughkeepsie with arrangements by Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City. Visitation will be Wednesday, March 18, 2015 from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home and also Thursday, March 19, 2015 from 1:00 p.m. until service time at the church. Pallbearers will be Chris Lasley, Jason Goad, Ron Fritz, Doyan Huckabee and Steve Edwards.
