James Allen Harris Jr.

James Allen Harris Jr. age 22 of Southside went to meet his Lord on Sunday, March 22, 2015. He was born on March 20, 1993 at Harris Hospital in Newport, Arkansas. He was an avid Razorback Fan and enjoyed watching military movies. He was a member of the Oakhill Free Pentecost Church in Spring Mill. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, John Harris, Betty White and Andy Tharp. Survivors include his parents, James and Sharon Harris and sister, Samantha Jo Harris all of Southside; his grandmother, Loretta Tharp of Spring Mill and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be Wednesday, March 25, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at the Qualls Batesville Funeral Service Chapel in Batesville with Bro. Kenny Tharp officiating. Burial will follow in the Palestine Cemetery located in the Hutchinson Mountain Community with arrangements by Qualls Batesville Funeral Service of Batesville. Visitation will be Tuesday, March 24, 2015 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Pallbearers will Scotty Harris, John Harris, Matthew Harris, Andrew Harris, Michael Harris and Anthony Harris. Honorary pallbearers are Dr. James Allen, William Downs, Mac Brokaw and All His Other Cousins.
