Gloria "Lilly" Barber

Gloria “Lilly” Barber age 88 of Sulphur Rock died Monday, April 20, 2015 at a Batesville hospital. She was born March 4, 1927 at Denver, Colorado to John P. and Blanche Colman Brott. She was a homemaker and of the Protestant faith. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, J.P. Barber and a granddaughter, Crystal Huffine. Survivors include one son, John P. Barber of Charlotte; one daughter, Blanche P. Huffine and husband Tim Brock of Sulphur Rock; five grandchildren, Shawn Biggers and Misty Henderson both of Sulphur Rock, John Aaron Barber of Desha, Michael Barber and Brian Barber both of Denver, Colorado; five great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be Thursday, April 23, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at the Qualls Batesville Funeral Service Chapel in Batesville. Burial will follow in the Hopewell Cemetery located at Cord with arrangements by Qualls Batesville Funeral Service of Batesville. Visitation will be Thursday, April 23, 2015 from 1:00 p.m. until service time at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Aaron Clark, Mitchell Henderson, Keith Hutchings, John Aaron Barber, Tim Brock and Brian Biggers. Honorary pallbearers are Bubba Hollingsworth and Roy Brock.
