Ada Ives age 84 of Cave City died Saturday, April 25, 2015 at a Batesville hospital. She was born November 10, 1930 at Butte, Montana to Thomas and Gladys Chaffin Thompson. She was a homemaker and a member of the Cedar Grove Missionary Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Billie Ives; two brothers, Sam Thompson and Morris Thompson and one sister, Geneva Rowe. Survivors include three sons, Dennis Ives and wife Terry of Flint, Texas, Brad Ives and wife Jennifer of Pleasant Plains and Mitch Ives and wife Terri of Cave City; one daughter, Linda Holley of Texarkana, Arkansas; one brother, Richard Thompson of Butte, Montana; one sister, Rose Sorensen of Modesto, California; ten grandchildren, Tera Fetter, Amanda Holley, Amber Holley, Matthew Ives, Philip Ives, Steven Ives, Michael Ives, Evan Dunegan, Bailey Dunegan and Jordan Dunegan; five great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. Graveside services will be Tuesday, April 28, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at the Pleasant Plains Cemetery located at Pleasant Plains with Bro. Ron Canard officiating. Arrangements by Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City. No visitation is planned. Honorary pallbearers are her grandchildren.
