Lela "Sissy" Wright

Lela “Sissy “ Wright age 89 of Batesville died Tuesday, April 28, 2015 at a Batesville hospital. She was born December 12, 1925 at Newark, Arkansas to Neal and Essie (Tilley) Crutchfield. She was a homemaker and a member of the Ramsey Heights Baptist Church at Batesville. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, R.J. “Coonie” Wright and one daughter, Karen Weaver. Survivors include one grandson, Brandon Weaver of Batesville; one sister, Peggy Fuller of Batesville; one stepson, Richard Wright of Victoria, Texas; one step-daughter, Joyce Maynard of Victoria, Texas ; two nieces, Sherri Smith and Kristi Fuller both of Batesville and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be Thursday, April 30, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at the Ramsey Heights Baptist Church at Batesville with Bro. Carley Davis and Bro. Aaron Maxwell officiating. Burial will follow in the Blue Springs Cemetery located at Newark with arrangements by Qualls Batesville Funeral Service of Batesville. Visitation will be Wednesday, April 29, 2015 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Kevin Smith Jr., Robbee Brown, Ryan Brown, David Whitman, Tommy Dunham and Norman Branscum. Honorary pallbearers are Glynn Fuller, Lynn Fuller, Kendall Weaver, Kevin Smith Sr. and Jim Swinea.
