Norman Fred Guinnip Sr. age 72 of Evening Shade passed from this life on the beautiful, warm, sunny afternoon of May 4, 2015. Fred was born on November 3, 1942 at Hickory Hill, Missouri to Woodrow and Birdie Guinnip. He went to school at Evening Shade. He made Malanie Jean Padgett his bride on September 12, 1964. They had three sons, Norman Fred Guinnip Jr., Woodrow Richard Guinnip and Matthew James Guinnip. Fred owned an appliance repair business and drove a school bus for Evening Shade School. Unofficially he was also a sawyer and an inventor. He enjoyed fishing, boating and camping. He loved spending time with his family and loved telling his grandchildren stories. Fred was preceded in death by his sister, Freda Lashley and his oldest son, Norman Fred Guinnip Jr. Survivors include his wife Malanie Guinnip of Evening Shade; two sons, Woodrow Guinnip and Matthew Guinnip both of Evening Shade; nine grandsons, Adam Guinnip and Justin Guinnip both of Paragould, Jonathan Guinnip of Mabelvale, Lucas Guinnip of Newark, Eric Guinnip of Beebe, Leon Guinnip of Sulphur Rock, Joseph Guinnip, Kyle Guinnip and Ian Guinnip all of Evening Shade; one granddaughter, Katosha Guinnip of Tuckerman; three great grandsons; one great granddaughter and a host of other relatives and friends. Fred will be greatly missed. Graveside services will be Thursday, May 7, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at the Campground Cemetery located at Evening Shade with Bro. Jim Weston officiating. Arrangements by Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City. Visitation will be Wednesday, May 6, 2015 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Adam Guinnip, Justin Guinnip, Lucas Guinnip, Eric Guinnip, Jonathan Guinnip, Leon Guinnip, Joseph Guinnip and Kyle Guinnip. Honorary pallbearers are Ian Guinnip and Katosha Guinnip.
