Darlene Hastings

Darlene Hastings age 65 of Sandtown died Wednesday, May 6, 2015 at her home. She was born May 5, 1950 at Marion, Indiana to James and Dorothy Schmitt. She was a homemaker and of the Free Will Baptist Faith. She was preceded in death by her father and one sister, Debbie Presser. Survivors include her husband, Charles Hastings of the home; her mother, Dorothy Chance of Cave City; one son, Terry Hastings of Sandtown; one daughter, Michelle Hastings of Batesville; two brothers, Chris Chance of Sandtown and Forrest “Sonny” Chance of Batesville; two sisters, Connie Headley of Sidney and Jamesetta Carter of Sandtown; one grandson, Toby Hastings of Sandtown; several nieces and nephews and host of other relatives and friends. Graveside services will be Saturday, May 9, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at the Lee’s Chapel Cemetery located at Sandtown with Bro. Bobby Sanders officiating. Arrangements by Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City. Visitation will be Friday, May 8, 2015 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Travis Turner, Mike Huckabee, Roy Creed, Allen Tippen, Edwin Mobley and Floyd Thomas. Honorary pallbearers are Dub Johnson and Grayson Melton.
