Peggy Reed

Peggy Reed age 79 of Evening Shade died Wednesday, May 13, 2015 at the Cave City Nursing Home. She was born August 18, 1935 at Evening Shade, Arkansas. She was an LPN for many years having worked at the North Arkansas Clinic and Gray’s Hospital both in Batesville and at the Sidney Nursing Home. She was of the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by her mother, Robbie Mae Reed Johnson; three brothers, Pete Johnson, Roland Johnson and James Walter Johnson and one sister, Lavena Smith. Survivors include one brother, Olen Johnson of Smithville; two sisters, Norma Sue Johnson of Evening Shade and Edra Story of Racine, Wisconsin; and a host of other relatives and friends. Graveside services will be Saturday, May 16, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at the Maxville Cemetery located at Cave City with Bro. Robert Hutchison officiating. Arrangements by Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City. No visitation is planned. Honorary pallbearers are Grady Rush, Clint McGuffey and Junior Runsick.
