Thomas Calvin “Tom” Conner III age 63 of Batesville died Monday, June 1, 2015 at a Batesville hospital. He was born January 1, 1952 at Memphis, Tennessee to Thomas Calvin Conner II and Peggy Ann (Ramey) Conner. He was retired; a U.S. Army veteran and of the Christian faith. He was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include his wife, Sheila Stephens James of Batesville; two sons, Thomas Conner and Nathaniel Conner both of St. Louis, Missouri; former wife and mother of his children, Virginia Conner Corbett of St. Louis, Missouri three sisters, Eleanor Conner of Los Angeles, California, Susan Faro of Phoenix, Arizona and Natalie Conner of Naples, Florida; two grandchildren, Silas Conner and Ava Conner both of St. Louis, Missouri; several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
