Stanley Stephens

Stanley Stephens age 58 of Pleasant Plains died Tuesday, June 9, 2015 at his home. He was born April 14, 1957 at Searcy, Arkansas to Thomas J. and Avinell (Martin) Stephens. He was a truck driver; worked several years for White Rodgers in Batesville and worked 24 years for Independence County Road Department . He was of the Baptist faith. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Deanna Stephens and one brother, Thomas Stephens. Survivors include two sons, Jeremy Stephens of Russell and Jason Lee and wife Jennifer of Imboden; one brother, Kenneth Stephens of Pleasant Plains; two grandchildren, Toby Lee and Lane Lee both of Imboden; several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. Graveside services will be Saturday, June 13, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at Kyler Cemetery located at Southside with Jonathan Baxter officiating. Arrangements by Qualls Batesville Funeral Service of Batesville. Visitation will be Friday, June 12, 2015 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Ron Byars, Ricky Weaver, Stephen Wyatt, Mark Rutledge, Jerry Rutledge and Randy Butler. Honorary pallbearers are Employees of the Independence County Road Department.
