John Gallegos age 68 of Batesville died Friday, June 26, 2015 at a Little Rock hospital. He was born April 8, 1947 at Monte Vista, Colorado to Telesforo and Martha (Lopez) Gallegos. He was a computer analyst for the State of California; a U.S. Army Vietnam War Veteran; a member of the Patriot Guard Riders and of the Catholic faith. He was preceded in death by his parents; and one grandson, Andrey Gallegos. Survivors include his wife, Leslie Gallegos of the home; two sons, Andrew Espindola of California and Cody Mackety of Trenton, Nebraska; five daughters, Shelly Lippincott of Sumner, Nebraska, Maria Burri of Seattle, Washington, Cordelia Gallegos of Seattle, Washington, Krystyn Hummer of Sacramento, California and Melissa Hummer of Elk Grove, California; five grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends. Memorial services will be held Tuesday, July 7, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at the Qualls Batesville Funeral Service Chapel in Batesville . Interment will be in the National Veterans Cemetery in Dixon, California. Arrangements by Qualls Batesville Funeral Service of Batesville. No visitation is planned. Honorary pallbearers are Jeff Fulkerson, James Davis and Dan Lippincott.
