Maudie Marie Davis

Maudie Marie Davis age 89 of Batesville died Wednesday, July 8, 2015 at a Batesville hospital. She was born February 20, 1926 at Shreveport, Louisiana to George and Estelle (Phillips) Cosier. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by her parents; two husbands, Troy Martin and H.B. Davis; one daughter, Tammie Elaine Martin; one brother, Phillip Cosier and three sisters, Mazie McDade, Annie Langrell and Theda Gathrite. Survivors include four sons, Keith Ray Martin of Tyner, North Carolina, Troy Cosier Martin of Bartlett, Tennessee, Bradford Joe Martin and Chris Daniel Martin both of Batesville; nine grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be Saturday, July 11, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at the Qualls Batesville Funeral Service Chapel in Batesville with Rev. Dwayne H. Stott officiating. Burial will follow in the Wackerly Cemetery located near Jamestown with arrangements by Qualls Batesville Funeral Service of Batesville. No visitation is planned.
