Clara M. Smith

Clara M. Smith age 86 of Floral died Wednesday, July 15, 2015 at a Searcy nursing home. She was born May 29, 1929 at De Valls Bluff, Arkansas to William D. and Etta Ann ( Barnes) Warmack. She was a homemaker and a quilter, having quilted and sold quilts for many years at her home in Floral. She was preceded in death by her parents; two husbands, Harold Whitener and William Roe Smith Sr.; one son, Kevin Dean Smith; one daughter, Ladonna Sue Whitener and one sister, Hester Altom. Survivors include two sons, William Roe Smith Jr. of Floral and Rickey Jan Smith of Fayetteville, North Carolina; two brothers, Cleon Womock of Indianapolis, Indiana and Virgil Womock of Floral; two grandchildren, Kimberly Ann Smith of Arlington, Texas and William Dolph Smith of Searcy; several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be Monday July 20, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at the Qualls Batesville Funeral Service Chapel in Batesville with Bro. Mike Fowler officiating. Burial will follow in the Cedar Grove Cemetery located near Floral with arrangements by Qualls Batesville Funeral Service of Batesville. Visitation will be Sunday, July 19, 2015 from 2:00 until 4:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be William Dolph Smith, Rickey Jan Smith, Virgil Womock, Cleon Womack, Rick Roberts and Wayne Gay.
