Evelyn C. Martin age 82 of Poughkeepsie, died July, 25, 2015 at a Batesville hospital. She was born September 20, 1932 at Williford, AR to Jeff Morgan and Allie “Davis” Morgan. She was a housewife and a member of the Cave City First Assembly of God. She was preceded in death by, her parents, her husband Clay Martin, one son Ellis Martin, two brothers and six sisters. Survivors include two sons, Gordon Martin and wife Kathy of Noblesville, Indiana and Jack Martin and wife Jennifer of Poughkeepsie, AR; one daughter-in- law Debbie Martin of Poughkeepsie; eight grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren and one on the way; several nieces and nephews a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be Wednesday, July 29, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at the First Assembly of God in Cave City with Bro. Bobby Sanders officiating. Burial will follow in the Spotts Cemetery located at Poughkeepsie with arrangements by Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City. Visitation will be Tuesday, July 28, 2015 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Heath Martin, Shawn Martin, Jason Martin, Josh Martin, Jacob Martin and Wesley Koettel.
