Anna Beth Laman Davis

Anna Beth Laman Davis age 86 of Batesville died Wednesday July 29, 2015 at a Batesville hospital. She was born June 13, 1929 at Cave City, Arkansas to John Olen and Deltha Ford Laman. She was a retired school teacher with 32 years of service. Among the schools she taught at were Truman, Springdale, Gentry and Yellville. She was a member of Delta Kappa Gamma, DAR, the White River Medical Center Auxiliary and the Beecee Line Dancers. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Batesville. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Ray Davis and two sisters, Roberta Ford and Johnnie Dell Laman. Survivors include one son, Terry Davis of Yellville; one daughter, Beverly Fountain of Batesville; five grandchildren, Kim Fountain of Orlando, Florida, Laman Fountain of Fayetteville, Ashlee Webber of Little Rock, Linlee Franks of Siloam Springs and Aimee Widner of Douglas, Georgia; six great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be Saturday, August 1, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at the Qualls Funeral Home Chapel in Cave City. Burial will follow in the Cave City Cemetery with arrangements by Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City. Visitation will be Saturday, August 1, 2015 from 1:00 p.m. until service time. Pallbearers will be John Ford, Julian Ford, Robert Ford and Tom Arnhart. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to First United Methodist Church, 615 East Main St., Batesville, AR 72501.
