Joyce L. Thomas Brewer

Joyce L. Thomas Brewer age 61 of Cherokee Village died Sunday, August 2, 2015 at a Paragould hospital. She was born July 16, 1954 at Jonesboro, Arkansas to Steve and Evelyn Thomas. She was a U.S. Air Force Veteran. She was a member of the American Legion and Auxiliary and was a Girl Scout Troop Leader. She was preceded in death by her father and one brother, Robin Thomas. Survivors include three daughters, Kerie Crawford of Paducah, Kentucky, Deborah McCollum of Cherokee Village and Kirsten Beckett of Canal Winchester, Ohio; her mother, Evelyn Thomas of Poughkeepsie; two brothers, John Thomas Sr. of Paragould and Freddie Thomas of Pleasant Plains; one sister, Evelyn Eason of Paragould; seven grandchildren, Lana Eddings, Alex Crawford, Alexis McCollum, Autumn Crawford, Hayden Beckett, Caleb Beckett and Liam Beckett; several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be Wednesday, August 5, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at the Qualls Funeral Home Chapel in Cave City with Bro. Phillip Lewallen officiating. Burial will follow in the Spotts Cemetery located at Poughkeepsie with arrangements by Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City. Visitation will be Tuesday, August 4, 2015 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
