Fred Hammer

Fred Hammer age 57 of Salado died Saturday, August 8, 2015 at home. He was born December 5, 1957 at Maquoketa, Iowa to Roy Ray Weets and Ruth Virginia Hammer. He worked several years for ConAgra Foods in Batesville in the maintenance department. He enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, fishing and spending time with family and friends. He attended Guion Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife Reva Diane Hammer and three sisters, Sally Hammer, Pam Hammer and Laura Hammer. Survivors include two daughters, Mary Hammer and husband, Thomas Hagins and Jamie Hammer all of Batesville; one son, J.R. Green of Harrison; one brother, George Hammer of Maquoketa, Iowa; four grandchildren, Trinity Dyer, Ava Hammer, Gemma Hammer and Aria Hammer; several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. A visitation will be held Tuesday, August 11, 2015 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the Qualls Batesville Funeral Service Chapel in Batesville. Arrangements by Qualls Batesville Funeral Service of Batesville. Honorary pallbearers are Jack McTaggart, Johnny Kunkel, Ron Engles, Leon Hutchins, Charles Austin and Sonny Hayes.
