William “Bill” Franklin Norris age 84 of Cave City died Tuesday August 25, 2015 at a Batesville hospital. He was born April 16, 1931 at Bexar, Arkansas to Jessie Franklin and Sarah Ellen Canada Norris. He was of the Baptist faith. He was retired from the Sharp County Road Department. He spent his time cutting wood, building fences, fishing and enjoyed spending time with his family. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife Buelah Edith Dishman Norris; two daughters, Sylvia Norris and Sue Norris; one brother, Danny Norris; three sisters, Sally Norris, Lita Filliponi and Lucy Putman; a granddaughter, Tracy Huckabee; four great grandchildren, Aaron Huckabee, Karson Norris, Shelby Norris and Ashley Norris and a daughter-in-law, Tonie Norris. Survivors include four sons, Billy Ray Norris, Laddy Lee Norris, James Dean Norris and Gene Alan Norris all of Cave City; one daughter, Kathryn Ann Norris of California; three brothers, Jim Norris of Gower, Missouri, Walter Norris and Johnny Norris both of Fayetteville; twenty grandchildren; forty-nine great grandchildren; three great great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. Graveside services will be Friday, August 28, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at the Maxville Cemetery located north of Cave City. Arrangements by Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City. Visitation will be Thursday, August 27, 2015 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Trent Bradley, Kenny Parker, Darnell McClinton, Randall Gillmore, Antonio Sanchez and Chase Gorman. Honorary pallbearers are Charles Norris, Ricky Norris, Dustin Norris, Tyler Norris and William Norris.
