Lois Brucilla Montgomery

Lois Brucilla Montgomery age 93 of Cave City died Wednesday, September 23, 2015 at a Batesville hospital. She was born October 4, 1921 at Wellington, Texas to Oscar Jethro Brewer and Martha Alice Askew Brewer. She was retired from General Motors in Indianapolis, Indiana. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, George Montgomery; a son, Donald Montgomery; four brothers, Lon W. Brewer, O.J. Brewer, Paddy Brewer and Johnny Brewer and two sisters, Artus Reeva Brewer Cole and Donita Brewer Fore. Survivors include one granddaughter, Tera Little of Los Angeles, California; one step-granddaughter, Jana Alig-Mielcarek of Pickerington, Ohio; one great grandson, Adrian Little of Los Angeles, California; one step-great granddaughter, Hanna Mielcarek of Pickerington, Ohio; several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. Graveside services will be Sunday, September 27, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at the Mt. Carmel Cemetery located at Sidney with Dr. Michael Higginbottom officiating. Arrangements by Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City. No visitation is planned. Pallbearers will be Danny Wilkes, Rabbi Jonathan Klein, Max Cole, Mike Davis, Justin Davis and Wayne Fore.
