Adam Osborn Jr. age 86 of Judsonia died Sunday, October 4, 2015 at his home. He was born January 27, 1929 at Russell, Arkansas to Adam and Dorothy Miller Osborn. He was a retired automotive mechanic. He was a U.S. Army Korean War Veteran and served several years in the Army National Guard. He was a member of the Pleasant Plains Church of Christ. He was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife, Francies Naomi Osborn; one son, James Dean Osborn; four brothers, Richard Osborn, Bud Osborn, Leroy Osborn and Leonard Osborn; three sisters, Orpha Northcutt, Virginia Ehret and Glenna Faye Allender and one grandson, Lynne Haines. Survivors include his wife, Glena Osborn of the home; one son, John Adam Osborn of Judsonia; three daughters, Melinda Barnes of Judsonia, Brenda Martin of Pangburn and Glenda Haines of Judsonia; ; two sisters, Valenia Sharp and Eva Mae Baker both of Concord; six grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be Wednesday, October 7, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at the Steprock Church of Christ located at Steprock with Jeffery Sheets, Dale Guice and Leroy Baugus officiating. Burial will follow in the Philadelphia Cemetery located at Judsonia with arrangements by Qualls Batesville Funeral Service of Batesville. Visitation will be Tuesday, October 6, 2015 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Davy Barnes, Adam Osborn, Billy Curtis Osborn, Michael Bridges, John Michael Light and Elijah Cannon. Honorary pallbearers are Jerry Dale Allen and Terry Allen.
