Marcella Smith

Marcella Smith age 93 of Batesville died Thursday, October 15, 2015 at a Batesville hospital. She was born November 12, 1921 at Calamine, Arkansas to Charlie and Dora (Gay) Milligan. She was a homemaker and attended the First Assembly of God Church in Batesville. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Charlie Smith; one brother, Jack Milligan and one sister, Marie Jones. Survivors include one son, Billy Ray Smith of Batesville; one sister, Rose Lindsey of Sedalia, Missouri; several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be Saturday, October 17, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at the Qualls Batesville Funeral Service Chapel in Batesville with Rev. Jeff Cox officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Zion Cemetery located at Newark with arrangements by Qualls Batesville Funeral Service of Batesville. Visitation will be Friday, October 16, 2015 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Mark Milligan, Ronnie Milligan, Kevin Caldwell, C.J. Ellis, Josh Jennings and Rick Jennings. Honorary pallbearers are Roy Milligan, Bob Milligan and Jeff Milligan.
