Birteen Walker

Birteen Walker age 87 of Strawberry died Friday, October 23, 2015 at a Batesville hospital. She was born December 19, 1927 in Strawberry, Arkansas to Elvin and Virgie Foster Milligan. She was a homemaker , retired from General Tire in Batesville and a member of the Strawberry Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her parents; two husbands, Paul Walker and Bernard Robins; one daughter, Evelyn Gail Brannon; one brother, Mitchell Milligan and one sister, Avalene Taylor. Survivors include one son, William Dale Walker of Strawberry; one brother, Fred Dale Milligan of Newark; one sister, Mary Aldene Wilson of Fort Worth, Texas; five grandchildren, Jennifer Wright of Strawberry, Christie Nunnally of Lynn, Alan Brannon of Lynn, Ashley Boyer of Columbia, Missouri and Andrea Walker of Booneville, Missouri; ten great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be Sunday, October 25, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at the Qualls Funeral Home Chapel in Cave City with Tommie Boles officiating. Burial will follow in the Penn Cemetery located at Strawberry with arrangements by Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City. Visitation will be Sunday, October 25, 2015 from 1:00 p.m. until service time at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Vince Wright, Alan Brannon, Kevin Nunnally, Roy Boyer, Danny Walker, Drake Brannon and Zavian Brumley.
