Jessie Bridgman Milligan age 87 of Batesville died Friday, October 23, 2015 at her home. She was born June 27, 1928 at Newark, Arkansas to John Franklin and Jencie Mayes Bridgman. She married her husband of 65 years, J.B. Milligan on November 19, 1949. She was a homemaker and a member of the Central Avenue Church of Christ in Batesville. She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, David Milligan; six brothers, Elbert Bridgman. Frank Bridgman, Bill Bridgman, Harding Bridgman, James Bridgman, and Lindsey Bridgman and three sisters, Mary Laverne Bridgman, Montine Street and Chloe Parini. Survivors include her husband, J.B. Milligan of the home; one daughter, Debbie Wade of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; one brother, Joe Bridgman of Batesville; two granddaughters, Amie Birdsong of Benton and Lindsay Haivala of Midwest City, Oklahoma; five great grandchildren, Braden Birdsong, Ally Birdsong, Gage Birdsong, Hayden Haivala and Halle Haivala; several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be Tuesday, October 27, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at the Central Avenue Church of Christ in Batesville with Dean Fugett officiating. Burial will follow in the Oaklawn Cemetery in Batesville with arrangements by Qualls Batesville Funeral Service of Batesville. Visitation will be Monday, October 26, 2015 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Gary Bridgman, Fred Bridgman, Greg Bridgman, Jared Bridgman, Phil Couch and Donald Boles.
