Marzelle Hartsell McBryde age 94 of Cave City died Wednesday, November 18, 2015 at the Cave City Nursing Home. She was born July 23, 1921 at Junction City, Louisiana to Ono Orion and Susan Gertrude (Maloch) Hartsell. She was a homemaker and worked as a receptionist and assistant in her husband’s chiropractic practice. She was a member of the Main Street Church of Christ at Evening Shade. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Dr. Ralph G. McBryde; one brother, Orvin Ono Hartsell; two sisters, Opal Ford and Flora Taylor; two nephews, O.D. Hartsell and Jimmy Hartsell Doster and one niece, Susan Hartsell Doster. Survivors include a son, Dr. Bill McBryde of Jonesboro; a daughter, Leah McBryde of Cave City; two sisters, Norma Kinard of Huntsville, Alabama and Clovis Doster of Eldorado; six grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be Friday, November 20, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at the Qualls Funeral Home Chapel in Cave City with Keith Sharp officiating. Burial will follow in the Evening Shade Cemetery located at Evening Shade with arrangements by Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City. Visitation will be Thursday, November 19, 2015 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Clint McBryde, Kurt McBryde, Clay McBryde, Daniel McBryde, Micah McBryde, Shawn Walsh and Brandon Walsh. Honorary pallbearers are Dr. Andy Davidson and Bradley McBryde.
