Deborah Karen “Debbie” Hightower Moss age 63 of Cave City died Friday, November 20, 2015 at her home. She was born February 26, 1952 at Batesville, Arkansas to James Monroe and Frankie Rudean (Wink) Hightower. She was a homemaker, retired from GDX in Batesville and worked several years at the Sugar Shack in Cave City. She was a member of the First Free Will Baptist Church in Cave City. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Anthony “Wayne” Hightower. Survivors include her husband, Terry Moss of the home; one son, Keith Adams of Mountain Home; three stepdaughters, Lisa Runyan of Cave City, Debbie Asberry of Sidney and Marcia Lawrence of Batesville; three brothers, James Monroe Hightower Jr. of Southside, Rodney Dean Hightower of Fort Worth, Texas and Kevin Lee Hightower of Little River, Kansas; one sister, Lois Sonerholm of Las Vegas, Nevada; ten grandchildren, Rachel Koch, Grady Adams, Austin Adams, Jeremy Runyan, Terry Runyan, Colton Asberry, Tyler Asberry, Taylor Asberry, Brittaney Scarborough and Brady Lawrence; eight great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. Private memorial services were held at the Kyler Cemetery at Southside. Arrangements were by Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City.
