Wilburn Leeroy Finster age 73 of Batesville died Wednesday, November 25, 2015 at a Heber Springs nursing home. He was born December 20, 1941 at Pfeiffer, Arkansas, the son of Roy Finster and Elsie Blevins. He was retired from ConAgra Frozen Foods in Batesville and was a U.S. Navy veteran. He enjoyed reading the Bible, going to the library, reading books and listening to gospel music. He was a Razorback Football fan and a boxing fan. He was of the Church of God faith. He was preceded in death by his parents; and two brothers, Don Herbert Finster and Tasker Von Finster. Survivors include one son, Joey Finster of Bozeman, Montana; three daughters, Leslie Finster Bumpous and husband Tim of Thida, Lynn Finster Worley and husband David of Batesville and Leann Finster Hyde and husband Donnie of Batesville; two brothers, Aubery Dale Finster and wife Cindy of Laplace, Louisiana and Lilburn Wayne Finster and wife Kyong of Lakewood, Washington; one sister, Audrey Faye Finster Brown and husband Nelson of Batesville; ten grandchildren; one great grandchild; several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be Tuesday, December 1, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. at the Qualls Batesville Funeral Service Chapel in Batesville with Bro. Ben Ryan officiating. Burial will follow in the Cave Creek Cemetery located north of Batesville with arrangements by Qualls Batesville Funeral Service of Batesville. Visitation will be Tuesday, December 1, 2015 from 12:00 noon until service time at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Jordan Bumpous, Tim Bumpous, Jimmy Decker and Sam England. Honorary pallbearers are the Staff of Highlands of Heber Springs.
